Helmet holder

On real mountain expeditions, storage needs to be flexible and efficient. For this we designed a helmet holder that can be adjusted with a simple trim to suit most sizes of helmet. This frees up extra space in the rucksack for extra clothing or mountaineering gear. The helmet holder can also be used to hold climbing ropes if needed.

All bases covered

The X-Lite 40 L is ready for any kind of adventure. It’s fully equipped with all essential storage. There are 2 bottle holders integrated with the shoulder straps, which also feature 2 extra zippered pockets with easy access while hiking. These pockets are perfect to store all your small items such as a phone, keys or snacks. The chest strap comes with an integrated pocket on the left side and a webbing loop for the storage of climbing carabiners.

Dyneema fabric

The main body of the rucksack is made from 70D dyneema fabric — a light, durable nylon/dyneema fabric that even maintains its cosmetic appeal when dusty or scratched. Thanks to lighter but more durable materials and a more efficient construction, we have achieved a low weight whilst retaining an excellent level of durability.

We designed the X-Lite 40L along with the Yeti Compress, an ultralight compress bag designed specifically for mountain wings such as our Yeti. The size and shape of the Yeti compress bag has been designed to perfectly match the size and the shape of the X-lite 40L, guaranteeing you the most efficient packing system possible.
